HOW FUNDING WORKS

A simple, accountable process

The Orange Heart Initiative will exclusively support projects within citrus-producing regions of South Africa in partnership with citrus growers and local initiatives. Additionally, funding will also be considered for social investment within the region where the CGA’s head office is located, recognising the organisation’s responsibility to its immediate environment.

All funding proposals/requests are to be submitted to the Orange Heart committee to consider and assess.

Orange Heart Fruit Drive

Every season, citrus growers donate surplus fruit through the Orange Heart Fruit Drive, ensuring that nutritious, high-quality citrus reaches the people who need it most.

Working alongside growers and community partners, Orange Heart helps distribute fresh fruit to schools, early childhood development centres, charities, community organisations and families across South Africa's citrus-growing regions.

Every donation helps reduce food waste while improving nutrition and supporting healthier communities.
